Less than a month into winter and I’m counting the days until spring and paying close attention to every minute the days lengthen. It’s been an especially rainy and gray winter, so I looked for a cheery Beauty Break to share.
I found this photo taken by my youngest daughter.
There’s always another way to look at a thing.

Trees by Joyce Kilmer
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth’s flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Great! Tell Brady that she took a beautiful picture!
I sure will. She’s taking a photography class at school and she’s got an eye for it.
That is wonderful!
Breathtaking photo to go with the poem. Beautiful!!
Thank you Monica!!
