In January, I began my blog series called Why I Left Giant Church Inc. It took nearly three years to learn about what happened to me and my family. Thankfully, those who experienced it before us, professional experts, and others shared their stories and knowledge. In one of the darkest seasons of our lives, these truth-tellers brought hope and light to us. We were not alone and there was a name for what happened to us.
Now I want to be one who shines a light of hope for others and point the Church back to Jesus. I will continue to write and speak about my experience and share what I learn from others. I will also partner with others bringing hope and healing.
One such organization is GRACE.
GRACE exists to equip the Church with a vision for authentic community, where responsibility, accountability, and compassion are second nature and caring for children and adult survivors of abuse are non-negotiable.

I’m partnering with GRACE to help raise funds for their work of making our churches and Christian ministries the safest communities. GRACE educates and empowers God’s people to love the vulnerable and wounded as Jesus does.
